In a discovery call, the method is the product

You show how you would solve it, because that is how the work is won. Sometimes the work is not won and the approach is rebuilt internally two months later, and there is nothing to point at, because the only thing that ever existed was a proposal describing what you would have done.

The moment

The free first call. Screen shared, framework on it, the specific sequence you use: the part that took years and that a competent team can reproduce once they have seen it.

What goes wrong today

  • A proposal sent afterwards proves what you offered. It does not prove what you showed, or when, or to whom.
  • Asking a prospective client to sign an NDA before a first call feels like friction at exactly the moment you can least afford it, so most people simply do not ask.
  • If it does go wrong, the disagreement is not about a document. It is about a conversation, and a conversation with no record is a conversation that did not happen.

What happens with C-NDA

  1. 01

    The invitation carries the NDA

One link, sent as you would send any meeting invitation. Accepting it is the way in, so there is no separate document to chase and no awkward second email.

  2. 02

Acceptance is a fact, not a claim

Who accepted, when, from what address and with what browser. Recorded when it happens, not reconstructed afterwards.

  3. 03

The call is sealed as it happened

For a protected meeting, what was shown and said becomes part of the package, including a declaration of anything the witness could not cover.

  4. 04

You keep a certificate, not a story

A PDF and an evidence archive, in your own repository, with a code anyone can check. Whether you ever need it is a different question from whether you have it.

What ends up in the certificate

  • the parties, with the identification method actually used for each
  • the moment of acceptance, before anything was shown
  • the NDA text, with its own fingerprint
  • for a protected meeting: the automatic transcript and the event log of the room
  • the anchor: network, transaction, block and timestamp

This does not make the first call feel like a contract negotiation. It makes accepting the terms the same gesture as joining the call, which is the only version of this that people actually do.

Where this stands today: registering an NDA with identified signatories, sealing it and anchoring it is live. The protected meeting (the witness that joins the call, the recording and the automatic transcript) is live on Google Meet in early access, and the feature list states each capability's status.

This page describes what our system records and how it can be checked. What that evidence is worth in your jurisdiction is a question for a lawyer, and we do not answer it.

Every protection produces a certificate that can be verified later, without an account on the other side and without trusting us.
